I have been teaching yoga for over 15 years. I received my training through the Temple of Kriya Yoga, which teaches alignment based Hatha Yoga. My classes focus on alignment, really getting to know these poses, and developing a deep mind/body connection. We use props, blocks, straps, chairs, etc. to modify the poses to make them accessible to everyone. I teach pranayama (breath control), and meditation techniques during my classes as well. Having a background in Thai Massage, gives me a real understanding of anatomy, muscles, bones and alignment.
