I have been teaching yoga for over 18 years. I received my training through the Temple of Kriya Yoga, which teaches alignment based Hatha Yoga. My classes focus on alignment, really getting to know these poses, creating stability in our joints, and developing a deep mind/body connection. We use props, blocks, straps, chairs, etc. to modify the poses to make them accessible to everyone. I teach pranayama (breath control), and meditation techniques during my classes as well. Having a background in Thai Massage, gives me a real understanding of anatomy, muscles, bones and alignment.
