Chantal has been a yoga practitioner since 2012. She leads and practices both the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series and Vinyasa Flow Yoga. She was certified to teach by AV108 Yoga School’s Jovan Nikolic in 2014. Since then, she has also studied under renowned Ashtanga Yoga teacher David Swenson and has designed curriculums and led yoga philosophy and history classes for Yoga Philippines. She leads weekly asana classes for students, both beginners and seasoned practitioners alike, and has conducted teacher trainings and continuing education modules for teachers.
As Co-Founder of Project Yoga PH, Chantal has experienced firsthand how a steady, regular yoga asana practice along with meditation and mindful living, can heal one’s body, mind and spirit and advocates for the same self-transformation for others. Chantal is also a Krishna Consciousness devotee and this has inspired her to use the art of teaching yoga asana as a means for devotional service.
She is also the Head of Operations & Finance for a small architecture & design firm. Chantal is a single-mom living in Manila, Philippines with her daughter, Elliana.
