I am certified as a 200 hour Kriplau style yoga instructor and have over twelve years experience teaching yoga full time weekly with adults and children mainstream as well as special needs across the country. I have taught everywhere from some of the poorest elementary schools in N.Y.C to some of the best studios and resorts in the world. My style and focus is informative, anatomical, supportive, and compassionate. Every class learns direct muscle awareness, breath integration and how to adapt to unique learning styles. We learn how to listen to the body’s subtle clues by developing acute personal biofeedback. Modern Hatha School of Yoga is an accredited yoga school with a focus on working with trauma and special needs populations. From science of yoga alignment and anatomics to the play of flow and restorative, I am a multifaceted teacher. There is no plan. Every class is created in the moment based on the unique physical makeup of the students who arrive to share practice. The mission is peace, the vehicle is the body.
