Wendy has been practicing yoga since 1994 under numerous disciplines and teaching since 2006. She was certified by It’s Yoga in Ashtanga Vinyasa and Rocket, Rusty Wells in Bhakti Flow, and Jivamukti with Sharon Gannon and David Life. She has completed trainings with Judith Lasater, Sarah Powers and Jai Uttal and studied with Dharma Mittra, Eoin Finn and Jason Crandell. In addition, she completed an advanced certification in Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga with Jennifer Wolfe More and several kids teacher trainings. She interned and completed her advanced certification with Giselle Mari as well. She has logged over 1,300 hours of training and sees herself as a perpetual student - constantly amazed and excited by the richness of all that yoga has to offer.
She opened Nandi Yoga in June 2008 to bring yoga to every body with a variety of styles, levels and approaches - all in an earth-supporting environment. Wendy started training teachers in 2011 with a 6-month intern program and launched Nandi Yoga's 200 RYS Program in 2013. Her trainees have gone on to teach successfully around the SF Bay Area and beyond.
Wendy lives by the philosophy of “practice what you teach and teach what you practice” and is on her mat every day breathing and playing.
