Sarah experienced her first yoga class while studying dance in college, but it wasn’t until later when she living in New York City that she began to deepen her exploration of yoga and all the many teachers and styles of yoga the city had to offer. Yoga became an outlet of calm for Sarah, and she found she was relying on it and more and more as a way to connect with herself and stay grounded. Sarah’s love of travel has had her on the move for quite some time, and finally landed her in Portland, which she is thrilled to now call home. Yoga became an anchor during times of transition and acting as a guide and outlet and a way to stay on her path throughout her travels.
Sarah completed her 200 hour teacher training under the direction of Kevan Gale at Stil Studio in Dedham, MA and is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher (RYT). She completed her Spa Yoga Training with Betty Riaz of Stil Studio in Fall 2013. Fluid yoga links breath and movement and focuses on being liquid like water, both on and off the mat, adapting to life’s challenges and changes, smoothly, mindfully, and gracefully. Sarah brings her love of movement and meditation to her mat, creating a flowing, upbeat class that links body and mind.
Sarah teaches Fluid Yoga, Spa Yoga and Hot Vinyasa flow in Portland, Maine.
