Kristen Williams is a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500 hour level with Yoga Alliance with almost 5,000 hours of teaching experience. She runs both 200 and 300hr Yoga Teacher Training programs plus a Yoga CoOp for her trainees to offer affordable yoga to the community.
Kristen began her yoga journey in 2008 while training for a half marathon. Quickly seeing the physical benefits, Kristen wanted more and began her own personal inquiry on the subject. In 2011 she graduated her RYT200 under Valerie Baltzer, RYT500 and later her 300 hour advanced certification. She received a scholarship to attend the Yoga in Action Leadership Training with Off the Mat, Into the World training with Seane Corn, Hala Khouri and Suzanne Sterling.
Kristen has taught yoga in resort settings, for corporate employees, in fitness centers and yoga studios. Kristen is the owner, operator and lead instructor of K10Yoga a Registered Yoga School in both the 200hr and 300hr models. She has been teaching yoga teachers since 2015.
Kristen is certified to teach Yoga for 12 Step Recovery classes and studied under Nikki Myers. She is a Facilitator and Facilitator Trainer for the Embody Love Movement under the direction of Dr. Melody Moore and had studied Trauma Sensitive Yoga with Hala Khouri. Additionally, Kristen has taught teacher trainees in a trauma sensitive yoga teacher training through Guiding Wellness in Killeen, TX. Kristen is an ambassador for CTZNWell and mobilizes to bridge the gap between the yoga community and social justice.
Kristen loves to travel and share her passion of yoga with others. You will often find her with a travel plan in the works between YTT Semesters.
