Kari Sims Anthon, Founder/Director of Life.Love.Yoga. (www.lifeloveyoga.com) in Sisters, Oregon is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) at the 500 level with the Yoga Alliance, and a Certified member of IAYT (International Association of YogaTherapists) as a C-IAYT
Kari came to yoga early on, but did not truly commit to her practice until 1998 while studying at UCLA and playing on their lacrosse team. She completed her first RYT-200 training in 2000, and has been teaching and sharing her love of yoga ever since. Kari is the Founder/Director of Life. Love. Yoga. and the primary facilitator of their 200 hour RYT training. She was also the Primary Facilitator of the Heart of the Cascades Yoga Teacher Training Program at Central Oregon Community College for six years, from 2009-2014, graduating over 30+ yoga teachers during her tenure.
Kari hails from Ojai, California where was a teacher at Lulu Bandhas, the home of the Ojai Yoga Crib. Kari has studied under many teachers in various traditions over the years including Paul Grilley, Erich Schiffmann, Saul David Raye and Ravi Ravindra, and is grateful for all of their guidance. Her teaching is primarily influenced by Kira Ryder of Lulu Bandhas and her studies with Integrative Yoga (Th) erapy
Kari has taught yoga in Oregon, California, and abroad in England, Mexico and New Zealand. She is blessed to call Sisters, Oregon home. Off the mat Kari is a new mama to her son Auckland, her furry son Trout, a fly-fishing caddy to her husband Dan, an Auntie, a devoted friend and an insatiable traveler.
