A Hatha Yoga teacher, I am certified as Yoga Acharya (Master of Yoga) by the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres, a Registered Yoga School (RYS) for the 500 hours standard by the world renowned Yoga Alliance. A passionate student and practitioner of Iyengar and Ashtanga Yoga, I have explored Sri Krishnamacharya's teachings with A. G. and Indra Mohan, Godfrey Devereux’s Dynamic Yoga system, Dharma Mittra's yoga in New York City, yoga anatomy with Leslie Kaminoff, plus Tibetan Buddhism with different masters including Tenzin Gyatso, His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama.
During the last few years, I have been studying yoga and vipassana (mindfulness) meditation techniques in Europe, UK, USA, India and Nepal with different masters. I am constantly on the move, furthering my practice, learning from wonderful masters while teaching to students from all walks of life. My incessant training and deepening the practice allows me to offer highly customized courses. I firmly believe that yoga can be adapted to the individual, and not the other way around. In Europe, I teach mainly in Spain and France.
In 2010 – 2011, I lived and worked in Alexandria and Cairo, Egypt, where I’ve taught this ancient, precious discipline to students from all over the world. Since 2012, I regularly collaborate with the Spiritual and Depth Psychology Specialization of the Antioch University of Los Angeles.
In 2014 I completed my training as a Pilates mat instructor, certified by Federación Española de Taichi y Pilates and by IPTCA (International Personal Trainers and Coaching Association), and my training as a WCS yoga teacher (yoga for women cancer survivors) with Amy Dara Hochberg.
Presently, I live and work in Barcelona, Spain, where I bring the benefits of yoga and Pilates to large corporations.
I regularly organise yoga journeys and retreats in partnership with NGOs and travel agencies working in sustainable tourism (mainly in India an Armenia), and teach in YTTCs (Yoga Teacher Training Courses) in Cambodia, Thailand and Barcelona (Spain).
