From early childhood on I was always on the move! As a kid and teen running, European handball, track and field and later challenging classes at the gym kept me busy, active and in shape. My parents, who were dedicated athletes themselves, taught me to always explore my limits and give 100%. That’s why when a good friend of mine insistently tried to introduce me to yoga I was convinced that “No, yoga is not for me, too quiet, boring and by far not physically challenging enough".

However, in October 2012 a girl friend offered to give me private yoga lessons. Going only once a week at first, I quickly realized that yoga was not just another newfound sport for me, but a life practice that made me feel great inside & out. I began to attend lessons in various yoga schools and so my personal transformation was launched. The thought that yoga would not be able to satisfy my urge to move quickly disappeared. Yoga taught me to consciously perceive my body, to calm my mind and for the first time in my life I experienced serenity.

This newfound power helped me to radically change my life. I decided to quit as a fitness club manager, a job I had for 10 years, to leave everything behind and start out on my new mission in life. To intensify my own practice, but above all to the experience firsthand the colorful, spiritual cosmos of India, I decided to complete a multi-style yoga teacher training in India in 2013. The training was characterized not only by learning and teaching different yoga styles such as Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha and Sivananda Yoga, but practicing different meditation techniques as well. Vinyasa emerged as my favorite yoga style and I decided to focus in my yoga classes simultaneously on mindfulness and a dynamic flow.

I am very happy that I was blessed with the opportunity to slow down the rapid pace my life and to perceive the world with completely different eyes. My new path, marked by joy, helped me to experience yet another trip to India and Sri Lanka in the spring of 2015. After a complete detox through a "Pancha Karma", I continued to grow mentally & physically. Inspired by my newly acquired Ayurvedic knowledge, I am now able to concentrate even more on my new way of life and would love to pass this knowledge on to you.

I’m looking forward to sharing my energy with you and I invite you to connect your body, mind and soul through challenging asanas and intensive breathing exercises in my classes.

Let’s flow!
