Alicia received her Masters degree in physical therapy at Northeastern University in Boston in 2006. She continued her studies with a 200 hour then 500 hour certification to teach yoga. Alicia works as an orthopedic physical therapist and teaches private yoga classes, a group yoga class at Stil Studio in Dedham with a beginner-friendly/injury-friendly focus as well as teaches the Fluid Anatomy section of primarily the Fluid Yoga Teacher Training at Stil Studio as well as various other teacher training programs. When she's not teaching yoga or working with patients at the physical therapy clinic, she's putting on workshops for injury prevention. With an emphasis on posture and injury prevention, she is uniquely qualified to help her yoga students prevent and recover from injuries.
