These two teacher trainings emphasize both structural and spiritual understanding of asana, as well as, approaching yoga with a capital Y - meaning practicing all 8 limbs of Yoga. In the Art of Yoga program, yoga poses are understood as launching points for self-inquiry, transformation and manifestation.
Nya's yoga research and writing centers around the lunar goddesses, moon salutations, guided imagery, yoga nidra and yoga poses as metaphors/archetypes.
