To me, yoga is a dance between empowering techniques and the most gentle security blanket. Yoga is a forgiving, yet encouraging practice, resulting in strength, flexibility and clarity. I love guiding people of all ages through yoga practises so they may obtain the peace and balance they require and deserve.
My yoga journey began in 2002, when I entered a studio, hopeful to find relief from chronic neck pain. Within only a few classes, I found that relief, along with an inspired sense of purpose and a deep appreciation for the physical body and it’s abilities.
I immediately began yoga teacher training to learn more about yoga’s possibilities and preventative philosophies.
In 2006 I began guiding adults through alignment based and breath focused Hatha classes, adding Prenatal, Restorative and Teen classes to my schedule in 2008.
I still love practicing yoga, teaching the poses and guiding classes. Classes. I have taught and led trainings in my Grimsby, Ontario Studio Yoga Truly and more recently do so online.
