Antoine Chacour Tinawi is a direct disciple of world renowned spiritual master Sri Sri Ravi Shankar with whom he travels, studies, and teaches yoga in all its aspects (postures, breathing techniques, meditation, mantras, service, devotion and philosophy). Since 1993, Antoine has accumulated 2,500 hours of formal yoga and meditation training with the Art of Living, the School of Sri Sri Yoga, with Sivananda Yoga, and in Ashtanga Yoga. He has also studied Kundalini Yoga, Yin Yoga, Chair Yoga and Thai Yoga. Antoine is one of the 10 first teachers in Canada to attain Yoga Alliance's E-RYT500; the highest designation for yoga teachers and has served on their Schools and Studios Advisory Group. In 2008, Antoine left his corporate career as an IT director, to volunteer for the Art of Living Foundation, an international not-for profit organization. As the Canadian Yoga coordinator for the Art of Living he travelled and taught yoga and meditation in many countries and founded and directed the Montreal Art of Living Centre.
Since 2012, Antoine has launched and owns 3 yoga studios in Montreal: Vibrations Om - Pointe-Claire in 2012, Vibrations Om - Saint-Laurent in 2016 and Vibrations Om - Lachine in 2019. He offers 200h and 300h Yoga Alliance certified Teacher Training Programs each year and is a regular presenter at large yoga events and conferences locally and internationally. Antoine has a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from McGill University, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 10 years of experience in the field. He is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMQ) and a Certified Ayurvedic Therapist (ANQ) with formal training in over a dozen techniques. Antoine offers since 2016 professional training in massage therapy.
