Nona Chiang is a Los Angeles-based yoga teacher. She studied primarily with Natasha Rizopoulos, Chuck Miller, Maty Ezraty and Lisa Walford.
Nona teaches both online and in-studio classes. She also leads 200- and 300-Hour YogaWorks Teacher Trainings in Southern California and abroad. Nona is known for creating a warm, welcoming environment for all students and teaching in a methodical, step-by-step way. She brings both humor and yoga philosophy into her teaching, seeking to bridge the gap between the yoga room and our everyday lives. She says:
“I absolutely love teaching yoga and helping people improve their physical and mental well-being. My students inspire me to be a better human being—more patient, loving and kind. I am incredibly grateful for the many lessons that yoga has brought into my life, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share yoga with others!”
In addition to holding a 500-Hour Teaching Certification from YogaWorks, Nona is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst and received her Master's degree in Dance from the University of California, Los Angeles.
