Angela Saucedo is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
I've been teaching at various studios in the IE for over 15 years. I teach a variety of classes, including various meditation practices. Over those years, I've owned a yoga studio in Yorba Linda, become a Reiki Master and gained a Master of Arts degree in Yoga Studies from Loyola Marymount University (2015). I have also taught the MBSR method of mindfulness meditation for those that work in trauma-filled occupations.
In 2018, I ventured into the world of bodybuilding and became an NPC Bikini Competitor in 2019. Yoga and Mindfulness practices were essential to that process, as body, mind, sprit connection helps with discipline, focus and an awareness of the imbalances that occur due to training.
I attempt to teach from a; 'meeting the student where they are at' approach. As a guide (teacher). I understand that this is your journey, your process and that I am only here to share my gained knowledge. All of these facets and 'adventures' in my life shaped the kind of teacher I have become.
I also currently conduct and provide Sound Healing opportunities at Chapman University. I have taught classes on yoga, mindfulness, sanskrit and philosophy for various teacher training programs, along with taught as part of the Mindfulness and Social Change program at LMU.
Hope to see you on the mat soon! Whether that be in a fitness studio, a classroom, an office or a yoga studio!
