Like many who explore yoga, it has been my lens to see more clearly within. I was "that" child -- on the move and touching everything in sight. As a young adult I taught myself meditation to quiet an active mind. The meditation, which involved deep breathing, helped me to grow personally and academically. Eventually I developed a consistent Ashtanga yoga practice and became a 200 Hour RYT.
I began teaching 2-6 year olds in an inclusive school for children with all abilities, including ADHD, sensory processing disorder, anxiety, and autism. The children taught me so much and inspired me to become a 95 RCYT.
In 2016 I became a 500 Hour RYT . I continue teaching children, along with adults of all ages, in group and private classes.
