Originally drawn to yoga for physical fitness at a local health club in 2007, I shortly realized a spiritual, physical and mental shift which led me to my yoga journey.
My teaching started in the fall of 2012, where I taught for just under a year. I have consistently taught since 2014. I felt the importance to grow my personal practice to benefit my students. This led me to attend The Himalayan Yoga Institute for 25 days to pursue my formal teacher training. During that stay, I was initiated into the Himalayan lineage. My training allowed me to take away a container of love to support others with their learning.
Yoga Therapy, Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in conjunction Ayurveda Training has given me specialized resources and applicable tools to provide anyone who seeks wellness and transformation.
I provide workshops and courses in the subjects of Yoga, Relaxation, Meditation, Ayurveda and Mindfulness.
My services include; Ayurveda Yoga Therapy
I teach Chair, Hatha, Gentle and Restorative group classes. I have developed skills to teach yoga to a diverse group regardless of age, size and ability. I emphasize simple alignment based classes to keep you safe with modifications offered for your capabilities. I have a deep understanding that EveryBODY is not built the same nor can they move the same.
My broader teaching experience evolved from teaching the Millikin University Golf player athletes. Additionally, I was the Yoga facilitator for cancer patients at Decatur Illinois’ Cancer Care Institute for a case study called YOCAS. Developed by a physician from the University of Rochester NY, this 2 1/2 year experience allowed me the experience to work with a broader student base.

2015 November-Calming Kids Elementary online certification which was inspired by teaching a children's class.
