Elizabeth began studying and practicing Yoga in 1998 in Memphis, TN. After moving to Elizabethtown, KY she continued her practice with Cheryl Bennett who introduced her to Yoga East located in Louisville, KY. There she met her teacher, Laura Spaulding and the practice of Ashtanga Yoga. Through classes at Yoga East and traveling to study with master teachers (including David Swenson, Tias Little, Richard Freeman, Francois Raoult, and Doug Keller) she completed her 200 RYT in 2005 and her 500 RYT in 2007. Elizabeth has taught Yoga to children, adults, and seniors in Elizabethtown for over 15 years. She tailors her class to the participants, paying attention to individual capability. The classes blend the best of the major yoga systems to provide a class that is safe, creative and joyful. In 2011 she obtained an Associate Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant which adds to her ability to help people find safe, alignment based ways to practice yoga.
