As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

  I couldn’t be more grateful for the two weeks I just spent living and learning at Heartwood Yoga Institute. I left the immersive teacher training program with so much more than a certificate. More than a head full of poses. My chatty mind was soothed by meditative, centering moments. My heart grew full from diving deep into yogic philosophies that have guided and united millions of people over thousands of years. I’m inspired to “reach for something higher” both on and off the mat. Spending this time with like-minded (and even like-aged) people was one of the most unique experiences of my life. I highly recommend Heartwood to anyone — for a class, a weekend workshop or an immersive teacher training. You’ll leave truly fulfilled.

  Rachel Belle is an excellent teacher. It was a privilege to learn from her. Heartwood has lovely gardens and nice large studio/learning spaces.

  Heartwood Yoga Institute provided an incredible experience and it exceeded my expectations. The staff were extremely supportive and they provided a safe and yet personally challenging program. The course material was thoughtfully designed and presented with lots of opportunities for practice and feedback. Special shout out to Ginny, Rachel and Hannah for their generous spirits and wise teachings. The food was delicious (thank you David!) and the accommodations were comfortable.

  From the moment I entered the property I felt calm, peaceful and inspired. The property is beautiful, and the teachers were fantastic! They made the training more interesting, easy to comprehend, and fun! We had out pictures taken in different areas of the beautiful property, which we can use on our websites ad/or social media pages.   My experience at Heartwood was amazing. The instructors are extremely knowledgable not only the asana practices and anatomy of yoga but also the philosophy. I felt very supported and encouraged throughout the program. The instructors taught at a great pace which allowed me to build and grow within my yoga practice and encouraged many teaching practices and opportunities along the way. Highly recommend this Yoga Institute.
