As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

General Comments
MVP is a good option for practitioners who have yoga experience and couldn't afford or didn't have time for an in person certification program. They were supportive, kind, compassionate, quick to respond and had a wealth of information. I recommend a mentorship before, during or immediately after taking ANY online certification course as this will fill in what may be missed online. Even with in person programs, it is recommended to have at least a year of steady practice. With online, I encourage more. I think with any online course, it lacks the connection that you would have with an person mentor or other students assisting you with adjustments or bouncing around and generating ideas during philosophical discussions. I think for feedback, I would encourage more depth of info on cultural practices that yoga comes from/is related to and the Bhagavad-Gita. I think a philosophy group session a couple of times a month might be great to really drive home what separates yoga from western fitness.
