VIDA Fitness Yoga is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance, which designates this teacher training program as one which follows Yoga Alliance’s standards. Students who complete an approved training with this school may be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs).

VIDA's The Whole Yogi 200 hour Teacher Training Program is a comprehensive program designed to give students an understanding of Yoga beyond just the posture or Asana practice.  Using the Pancha Kosha model laid out in one of Yoga's oldest texts, the course moves from the outer layer of our being, our body, and travels progressively deeper to our very core.  Students will learn a variety of techniques-Asana, Pranayama, Kriya, Meditation, Mantra, Mudra- and learn to teach them as well.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

    Training Program held on Jan 27, 2018—May 13, 2018

I thought their instruction was great. They offered a diversity of teachers. They were highly accessible, which made learning easier. I would highly recommend their school/program.

Amazing overall. It was a well-rounded program that helped both my personal practice and teaching journey. I'll always be grateful to my cohort and our teachers for this experience. Full Review

Outstanding experience and journey. Chris, Julia, and Christine do a superb job of teaching the program through the Pancamayakosha model. The program is equal parts rigorous and rewarding. The skills learned during this course not only prepared me for teaching asana practice but stretched me emotionally and spiritually. I cannot say enough great things about this experience.
