As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

Amazing overall. It was a well-rounded program that helped both my personal practice and teaching journey. I'll always be grateful to my cohort and our teachers for this experience.

Outstanding experience and journey. Chris, Julia, and Christine do a superb job of teaching the program through the Pancamayakosha model. The program is equal parts rigorous and rewarding. The skills learned during this course not only prepared me for teaching asana practice but stretched me emotionally and spiritually. I cannot say enough great things about this experience. A+

Chris and Julia were wonderful guides into the instruction of the practice. In addition to excellent training on anatomy and class cadence, and a very adaptable master sequence, we received an abundance of insight into the spiritual and emotional aspects of the practice. We were encourage to teach what we practice, and to practice what we teach in a way that deepened my practice. I left the training with insight into how to be disciplined in service, compassionate in instruction, and accessible/equitable in inviting students to invite themselves to explore their practice in group fitness formats. By learning to see the whole yogi, instruction became yet another gateway for my own journey to grow and change with me.

This training has a wholesome approach to the practice of yoga and to training contentious teachers with the right balance of practical training and in depth understanding of the yoga philosophy. We have all graduated with the tools to lead a strong class, safely, mindfully and compassionately.
