What makes Shree Hari Yoga different?

We have educated and experienced Indian Yogis and Sadhus as yoga instructor.
Shree Hariji itself is a Yogi with over 10 years teaching experience. He has lived 3 years in a Cave in the Himalayas as a Sadhu. Talk with him about your Yoga experience and dive into deep philosophical and meaningful conversations.  We don't let you alone! After your yoga teacher training, you become a part of our yoga family, and you are always welcome to visit us or to become a guest teacher. If you can, extend your stay, even directly after your yoga certification course, it is the best way to practice teaching by volunteering with us in our Yoga school. We will empower you!

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

This school is committed to sharing and promoting traditional yoga, they way it has been taught for decades, or centuries for some aspects. At the time of my course, all of the instructors were either Indian or Nepalese, with a high level (sometimes life long level) of expertise in practicing or teaching either the physical and philosophical aspects of yoga. There are multiple sites for the Shree Hari yoga school in India; the school I attended is in a forest a few minutes walk from Kudle beach, and a few kilometers from Gokarna, a significant city for spiritual seekers. The weather was very warm around December, with all vegetarian meals being freshly prepared by on-site chefs, and beautiful flora and fauna in the forest and around the beach, making the course relaxing even though the daily classes were demanding. Overall, the TTC was more focused on asanas and somewhat pranayama, compared to the other 6 limbs of Raja/Ashtanga yoga. All of the staff were very knowledgeable, attentive and kind, and they were versatile in adapting the course to the interests of the students within the limits of the curriculum.

Overall I felt that I had a positive experience at Shree Hari Yoga, and that Hari was especially wonderful. He is so knowledgeable and warm, but also open minded if someone has a difference background or philosophy than his own. Unfortunately, Hari needed to be away to establish his other school, and I didn't always feel the same level of quality in instruction when he wasn't there. Full Review
