Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

Overall I felt that I had a positive experience at Shree Hari Yoga, and that Hari was especially wonderful. He is so knowledgeable and warm, but also open minded if someone has a difference background or philosophy than his own. Unfortunately, Hari needed to be away to establish his other school, and I didn't always feel the same level of quality in instruction when he wasn't there.

I did my RYS 200 yoga teaching training at Shree Hari Yoga in Dharamsala. The whole experience taught me a lot about Yoga and life as well. The variety of teachers was very beneficial for my learning. However, some teachers didn‘t have enough competences to train teachers. Being a secondary teacher myself I sometimes struggled to settle with those circumstances. The staff is very kind and helpful and they live by the yogic principles.

An excellent Yoga School where yoga - both traditional and innovative - is taught with dedication by teachers who are well qualified and passionate about their mission of imparting yoga training both practical and theoretical. The teachers give individual attention to the needs of each student. The physical, philosophical, and spiritual dimensions of yoga are taught by experienced practitioners of asana, pranayama, meditation and yoga therapy. The school is situated in a historical temple town (Gokarna) on the shores of the Arabian Sea and hosts students from around the globe creating a true international Yoga community immersed in teaching, learning, and practicing Yoga.

I recently completed the "500 Hours Yoga Teacher Training" course and I must say it was an incredible experience. The course provided me with a deep understanding of yoga philosophy, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of various yoga asanas and sequencing techniques. The instructors were highly knowledgeable and passionate about yoga, and their guidance and support throughout the training was invaluable. The course was well-structured, with a perfect balance between theory and practical sessions, allowing me to deepen my own practice while gaining the skills necessary to become a competent yoga teacher. The community of fellow trainees was also amazing, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment that enhanced the learning process. I highly recommend the "500 Hours Yoga Teacher Training" course to anyone looking to expand their yoga practice and embark on a journey towards becoming a skilled and confident yoga teacher.

I did a 300h multi style teacher training and it was an amazing experience. The teachers are all really good in their practice as well as good people. The school teaches a yoga that we need nowadays, therapeutic, spiritual, and challenging. I recommend this school in this beautiful place of Gokarna 🙏❤️ There are different trainings taking places at the same time but we all are in small group for the lessons, so you meet so nice people but have the luxe to be in a human scale training. It gives also richness to the place.

I had an amazing experience in the 200-Hour Yoga Therapy course in Gokarna, India. The staff members are very knowledgeable, caring, and helpful. And, it's a beautiful location!

This school is committed to sharing and promoting traditional yoga, they way it has been taught for decades, or centuries for some aspects. At the time of my course, all of the instructors were either Indian or Nepalese, with a high level (sometimes life long level) of expertise in practicing or teaching either the physical and philosophical aspects of yoga. There are multiple sites for the Shree Hari yoga school in India; the school I attended is in a forest a few minutes walk from Kudle beach, and a few kilometers from Gokarna, a significant city for spiritual seekers. The weather was very warm around December, with all vegetarian meals being freshly prepared by on-site chefs, and beautiful flora and fauna in the forest and around the beach, making the course relaxing even though the daily classes were demanding. Overall, the TTC was more focused on asanas and somewhat pranayama, compared to the other 6 limbs of Raja/Ashtanga yoga. All of the staff were very knowledgeable, attentive and kind, and they were versatile in adapting the course to the interests of the students within the limits of the curriculum.
