As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

Everyone at Himalayan Yoga Academy is amazing. From the highly experienced teachers to the extremely friendly staff and front desk personnel, they provide everything you need to be a successful student and an even better teacher. I wouldn’t choose anywhere else to begin my 200-hour yoga journey. Even the 300-hour students learned so many new variations and techniques. All the classes were fantastic; the teachers were the best, and the meditation classes helped build a bridge, allowing you to connect deeper with yourself. This experience will stay with me for the rest of my life. So, thank you to my Himalayan Yoga Academy family. 🙏��

It was a magnificent time at Himalayan Yoga Academy where I did my 300 hrs YTT. Not only did I learn new yoga styles to teach; Hatha and Ashtanga, but I also learned about Ayurveda and anatomy and I got many diverse and in-depth classes on yoga philosophy. Very happy to add more knowledge on Pranayama and Meditation techniques, and I got to experience sound healing!

HYA was a transformative experience. I learned SO much from my teachers and grew immensely, both in my practice and as a person. The curriculum was very wide-spanning covering the origins of yoga and the many different types, pranayama, mantra, Ayurveda, anatomy, and meditation. The owners and teachers put the most care into the itinerary, the meals, and the traditions of all the Nepalese holidays and celebrations we were lucky to be a part of. I felt so at home and cared for here, and I can’t wait to return.

My experience at the Himalayan yoga academy was a beautiful one. I love all of my teachers and I learnt so much from everyone there. The Himalayan Yoga Academy was so thorough in teaching not only in-depth knowledge of physical asanas/structuring classes as a teacher (including variations and contraindications etc.), but everything they taught was also very strongly rooted in the philosophy of Yoga and included much more than the physical practice, which was something I always felt was important to me when going down this path. I couldn't have asked for a better place to learn and would recommend the HYA to anyone looking to get into teaching Yoga!

The teachings and wisdom provided by the amazing teachers and staff at The Himalayan Yoga Academy, have been invaluable to my life. Authenticity and a proper holistic understanding of what yoga really is and how to properly apply it to the world around you, is an uttermost priority at HYA.
