Joy Of Yoga believes that yoga changes lives and transforms every aspect of our being. Our mission is to provide a peaceful, safe, and calming space where students can develop their own personal yoga journey and receive the support needed to foster their growth. Our staff supports students in creating a consistent yoga practice, as well as offering a variety of alternative modalities. Students and clients leave our space feeling rejuvenated and inspired; opening the doors to positive transformation.

Our ultimate aim is to grow students and teachers in their yoga practice, in their knowledge of themselves and in developing a skillful and holistic approach to navigating the inevitable ups and downs of everyday life. In this way, we affect not only one another but our families, our community and our world.

Our classes are rooted in Hatha Yoga and include Vinyasa Flow, Open Level, Yoga Basics, Meditation, Myofascial Release, Ayurveda, Yoga for Mental and Emotional Health, Trauma Informed, Prenatal, Gentle, Chair & Restorative. You will also find at Joy of Yoga many alternative solutions to transformation such as Reiki, Sound Healing, Ayurvedic Coaching, and Entreupreunerial Mentorship.

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I most enjoyed the space, time and energy Joy and Jill provided for us to learn, grow and ask questions. We were encouraged to participate at every level in this process. As I reflect upon this incredible program and experience, I realize now that every time we got together (in person or online) my mind was expanding, my body was moving energy, and my spirit got more and more thirsty. Joy and Jill both inspired me to look inward, try new ways of thinking and moving, and continue this journey of self development for a lifetime. I am forever grateful to have ended up with these 2 incredible teachers. They are doing life-changing work in this world and I'm glad to have benefited by completing this program. Thank you, Joy and Jill.

Joy and Jill were a pleasure to learn from and truly helped me build a foundation not only for my yoga practice and future teaching endeavors, but also for my personal spiritual practice and understanding.

Joy and Jill were incredible instructors. They explained things on a level everyone could understand and grasp. The class was structured so I have a foundation to grow upon. Little did I know when I was heading to this experience the amount of healing and growth I WOULD experience. I have the skill set to go out into the world to give this gift to others as I continue to grow. I found how to use my voice in this program.

Joy of Yoga provided a comprehensive yoga education and supported its teacher trainees every step of the way. From the rich history and philosophy of yoga to alignment and anatomy, Joy of Yoga prepared me to step out into the world and pursue teaching. I cannot recommend this program and its instructors enough!

I cannot say enough good things about this training. It was well balanced with history, anatomy, and practical teaching guidance. We were able to practice teaching. Joy and Jill had high expectations of us, and the environment was supportive, encouraging, and enriching.

I entered into Yoga Teacher Training without a specific intent to teach but to deepen my practice and keep an open mind as to where my training might take me. Joy and Jill's class was a comprehensive collection of Yoga history, philosophy, anatomy and teaching skills with a deep dive into meditation and breath work. They create a safe and supportive space for learning and community. I highly recommend their training!

Joy of Yoga Teacher Training was a life changing experience for me. It was a space not only to learn about yoga, the history of yoga and anatomy, but also a place to connect with people who I hold dear to my heart. The curriculum was outstanding, the instructors Joy Page and Jill Dunlap were easy to work with, smart and had incredible knowledge through their many years of yoga and teaching experiences to make me feel confident and prepared when we completed the program. In addition to classroom time, they offered experiences outside of the classroom that furthered our education. From the beautiful music we had every Sunday from the lovely Anu French who would play her harmonium for us to the thoughtful gifts such as Malabeads we received when we graduated, this Teacher Training was beyond what I could have ever imagined. Whether you want to further your own practice or become a teacher, this program will benefit you and change your life for the better. Highly recommend this beautiful Teacher Training by Joy and Jill. ❤️

After many years of Yoga and several years of internal debate about teacher training, Joy and Jill's class at Joy of Yoga and Wildwood Yoga came recommended by a couple of mutual friends. The class was perfect for what I wanted to achieve. My practice is not fast paced or high energy most of the time. I wanted a class that balanced the physical asana practice with broad spiritual perspective. That and so much more were taught over the 10 month period. I would highly recommend this course for anyone looking to take their practice to levels beyond the basics of Yoga. Namaste.
