As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I will cherish this experience forever! David Yglesias is an accomplished, experienced teacher and author, and he creates a welcoming atmosphere in which you feel free to ask even the most basic of things. The 200-hour course was a bit intense, as we had to read three books, take chapter quizzes on-line, prepare a book report, research assigned asanas to present weekly (when we met), and with all this going on, take at least 40 hours of yoga classes as well. But the course content, the community, the support and the environment were all so wonderful, David is so knowledgeable, the classes were so well structured and pleasant that now I honestly miss the entire thing: the classes, the learning, the community. David always ended each class with a fun activity, sometimes not quite yoga-related, but they worked so well to build camaraderie. It became clear to me, though, that this 200-hour course is only an introduction - there is so much more to learn! I certainly look forward to many more of these courses at Energy Yoga with David Yglesias. As cliché as it sounds, my only regret is not taking this leap earlier in my life. Take this course to improve yourself and improve your practice; I am sure you will fall even more in love with yoga! Thank you David, thank you Energy Yoga, and thank you, my pretties. Namaste.
