As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I chose Firefly Yoga Teacher, first because it was local and second because their philosophy aligns with mine. I believe yoga is for everyone, no matter their body type, physical limitations, or physical fitness level. Lisa and Ronny are kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and use humor to help in the learning process. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to take their training.

This course gave me the foundation I needed to teach yoga. More important than the beauty of perfectly executed asana is the value system that unpins the practice of yoga. Yoga is more than a pose. Firefly Yoga has a gentle and intelligent way of guiding students through the learning and teaching process. Before you know it, the skills are there, and I was able to pass knowledge on to other students. It is apparent that the instructors have spent time, effort and used their adept skills to develop the class curriculum by how well they know the material and answer any questions you may have. They are professional and down to earth this creates an environment to foster intelligence and humor. I 10/10 recommend Firefly 200 YTT course to anyone who is looking to deepen their knowledge of yoga and yogic traditions.

To learn at Firefly has been a truly amazing experience that not only gave me the tools to teach a yoga class, but also left me feeling inspired by and rejuvenated by life itself.
