We offer classes in Yoga that focus on basic postures, breathe, awareness and meditation techniques in order to develop strength, flexibility of the body, mental clarity and a general sense of wellbeing. We respect the differences and needs of each individual in-group or private practice. Yoga is an ever deepening and expanding discipline, which through regular practice unite body, breathe and mind. You are never to out of shape, overweight, to old or to ill to benefit from yoga that is taught specifically for your conditions.
We offer 200 Yoga Teacher Training programs and Continuing Education Classes for yoga teachers at all levels.
So we gather on a wooden platform under the rainforest trees, surrounded by nature, a short walk to the beach, to offer you yoga, meditation, mindfulness, serenity and at times, crazy joy and allot of laughter.                                                                                   www.bienestarlife.com

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

Lura has much knowledge and wisdom that she is passionate about sharing. During my YTT, most of the teaching was with Lura, with different teachers and physiotherapists for the anatomy module who were excellent. Bienestar as a yoga school has some exciting developments coming up which I am keen to go back and see. Overall i am grateful for all that I learnt, my experience and the wonderful mix of people I met along the way.

Thank you Kaya Lin, Committed and engaged students make all the difference to any class. I know you will be an attentive and engaged teacher. You have opened the door to learning that will continue your exploration of all things yogic. I am looking forward to see what you do next. Lura

I spent 6 months researching 200 hour yoga teacher training on Yoga Alliance, Google, and TripAdvisor. Two of the things that made Bienestar Yoga Shala the clear winner were the small class sizes providing a more personalized experience and it was one of the only certified schools offering a 28 day course. After completing it I'm not sure how you could learn everything in a shorter time. Lura introduced each subject in bite sized pieces giving us time to retain what we had learned and then building on that foundation into more complex topics. She would bring out related books if we would like to learn more on each topic and gave us all the information on programs and schools for continued education in each field. Lura took an interest in what each student wanted to persue and talked us threw how to achieve those goals. They accommodate for allergies and dietary restrictions while still making everything delicious. During the week all our meals were prepared for us by a private chef and garnished with flowers grown on the property. Every meal I ate was incredible and for the last week of training they prepare everyones favorite dishes. All in all Bienestar was an incredible experience and I have already recommend it to my friends and anyone looking into yoga teacher training. Lura is a gracious host making everyone feel like part of the family while sharing her extensive knowledge to all who are willing to learn. I will be attending any continued education courses she offers in the future and even just stopping in whenever I'm in Costa Rica. Full Review
