As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

  I cannot speak more highly of YoYoYogi's teacher training program. This was truly a transformational experience for me. Not only did I receive an incredible and in-depth education that left me confident to teach and share this sacred practice, but I learned how to really allow my true self to shine through in my teaching. This program is special in that enables you to peel back layers of yourself to become your own teacher and do what is unique to you, rather than just become a teacher of YoYoYogi's school of thought. It truly is something special.

  The YoYo teacher training was so much more than I had hoped for. The instructors are compassionate, professional, knowledgeable and fun. I’m so glad I chose this program. I met some amazing people and feel ready to embark on this new path.

  Fantastic program that focuses on teaching from the very first week. Every week, poses are broken down and workshopped, helping you understand the pose and how to teach it. One favorite exercise was the round robin drill where you have no idea when you will be called to teach and you jump right in and pick up where another student left off. Sounds intimitading, but it really gets you teaching and thinking on your toes. I came to the program hoping to expand my own yoga practice physically, and not with the intention of teaching. My practice has grown so much, but I was hoping to get a more advanced practice through this training and I am looking for additional ways to work on the more advanced poses. The program has opened up a world of yoga that I wasn't familiar with and taught me that there is so much to learn. This is just the very beginning.

  YoYoYogi is more than a studio - it's a community! And what a joy it was to be a part of that community through their teacher training program :) I expected to learn how to teach, but what I did not expect was to learn so much about myself and my own practice. I would highly recommend YoYo's training to anyone looking for a supportive and welcoming training program in the Portland area.

  My experience at YoYoYogi was so fulfilling. The teachers are amazing! So knowledgeable, compassionate, and just wonderful humans. I love taking class and loved learning their teaching techniques even more.

  YoYoYogi 200 hour teacher training program is exceptional and transformational and a cornerstone to my personal and professional growth. Not only do the instructors foster a place of life, growth, and friendship, they also exceeded my expectations with their yoga teachings related to poses, class structure, and creating a well-rounded class experience. The instructors led discussions and conversations around yogic philosophy (yamas, niyamas, chakras) as well as educate a sound structure for creating yoga classes that focus on messaging, effective cueing and creating a harmonious experience from start to finish. They lead heart forward - recognizing and honoring each person's human experience - creating a safe haven for us all to learn and grow. I recommend this program with my whole being!

  It is hard to provide a thorough and accurate review of my 300 HR program as we were forced to adapt and shift the plan in major ways due to COVID. However, prior to the onset of the pandemic, I loved the program. I felt it was thorough, insightful, and deeply foundational for my personal and professional growth. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at YoYo. The community, the teachers, the workshops, and the teacher training programs have all been exceptionally rewarding.

  Yoyo Yogi is such a special place, the people who led the YTT changed my life. They were not just mentors but became friends. They showered us with love and brought me so much confidence. Highly suggest getting 200H from Yoyo Yogi. I LOVE THEM
