Yoga Body Institute is an RYS 200 Yoga school. Our Yoga Teacher Training Programs are designed for you to discover your true self and your true power. Through the teachings, principles and methodology of Power Vinyasa Yoga, you will discover how to tap into the power within you which will allow you to create your own story and share it with the people around you. Yoga Body Institute features a state of the art facility and heating system. YBI has two yoga rooms so the trainees can separated from the regular studio classes in a private heated yoga room. We have men’s and women’s locker rooms with showers and an Organic juice and natural smoothie bar. Yogis who attend our classes notice the energy in the studio immediately upon entering the space.

Here is what they are saying:

 Matt S., Newark Valley, NY
"Yeah yeah.... I can stretch at home." Is what my buddies all said to me when I talked to them about coming to Yoga Body Shop. But almost 4 Months later, almost 35lbs lighter, and the start of some major clarity mentally.....I'm starting to be asked more and more how I'm doing it. HOT YOGA! I've always been athletic and liked to push myself, but never have I had a work out like this. More importantly never had I given myself the opportunity to do something so beneficial for myself not just for my body....but my mind as well. I'm hooked!

K. Luke,
"Everyone is always super friendly and I always feel comfortable going!! The yoga classes have drastically improved my quality of life and all of the instructors are phenomenal"!

Harold S,
One of the best Yoga studios I have ever visited! A dynamic staff, excellent studio designed to provide a comfortable while challenging asana practice. Their new studio is designed to provide the healthiest hot yoga experience available! I am a 200 RYT and this is my home away from home to practice.

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

    Training Program held on Sep 17, 2016—Feb 19, 2017

Keep: building community and connection between your students, their students and all people. Stop: consider constant reformation of groups. It would create more challenge to each individual to have to adapt and form connections with all rather than just focus on one group throughout the experience. Start: introducing other methodologies for knowledge and comparison. For me, personally, this serves to enhance the Baptiste methodology rather than detract from it.
