Looking for a comprehensive, in-depth Yoga Training Course to get you started on your professional path as a yoga teacher? Whether you're serious about becoming a teacher, or simply interested in deepening your personal practice, the foundational 200Hr Avid Yogi Yoga Training Programme at our partner studios will help you take your understanding of yoga to the next level in our 200 and 300 Hour YTT courses.

With the study of philosophy, asana, history of yoga, anatomy and the practical aspects of learning to share your passion, our experienced teaching team has got you covered. Founded by E-RYT500 Karen Kirkness at her home studio in Edinburgh, Meadowlark Yoga, the Avid Yogi YTT faculty has expanded to include two key contributors: Nadine Watton and Amy Hughes. With over 60 years combined yoga experience, these accomplished yoginis will support you to enrich your practice, look inward, and find your own voice for a lifetime of progressive yoga practice.

Initiate your next chapter as a movement professional, gain experience in our range of CPD courses and workshops, and meet mentors in yoga that will be part of your long-term journey. Our yoga community is steeped in the values of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, feedback, kindness, humour and hard work towards achieving shared and individual goals.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I loved the Yoga Teacher Training with Avid Yoga. The course was structured in a way that worked well. The teachers are knowledgeable, inclusive and open to discussions. Loved every minute of it.
