For those aspiring to teach yoga or deepen their practice through study, we present Sarasota's premier RYT200 Hour teacher training program, registered with the Yoga Alliance, focusing on Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, led by instructor Kerry Tice. Rooted deeply in the philosophical and ethical foundations of yoga, this comprehensive 200-hour program contextualizes yoga practice within its most renowned texts, anatomical realities, and diverse styles. Students will develop the ability to forge logical connections between anatomy, alignment, and the movement of diverse human bodies with varying skeletal structures. They will learn the essential techniques for safe adjustment and mindful alignment, as well as cultivate the qualities of voice and presence necessary for leading calm, secure, and fluid classes. The curriculum delves into yoga philosophy through the teachings of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita, alongside practices such as mantra, japa, meditation, and an exploration of Ayurvedic fundamentals. Additionally, students will be introduced to yoga nidra, restorative yoga, and nada yoga. This foundational training aims to expand your understanding of the rich history and vast potential inherent in the art and science of yoga.

The Circusoul Yoga Teacher Training program was the best decision I could have made at this stage in my yoga practice. My teachers saw something in me that I maybe wasn’t aware of myself, and with their encouragement I have expanded my knowledge and practice well beyond what I ever previously imagined. Through the experiential practice alongside the philosophical study, my teachers Kerry Tice, Erin Cranston, and Cara Levitt, all provided opportunity for conversation and direct application of yoga on and off the mat. The layout of studying alignment from the base of the body up alongside the chakra system allows for simple digestion of the massive topic of yoga. My teachers made the information accessible by encouraging dialogue with and amongst the group, and by meeting the students where they were: some of us have years of practice and some only months, and all were viewed as valuable and worthy. What really makes this program stand apart, though, is how it prepared me to become a paid yoga professional, with the guidance and backing of my teachers as I begin to make my own mark on the yoga community. For anyone considering the path of yoga professionalism, this program is it.
