Sadhana Yoga School is a place where transformation and growth occurs, where dreams are manifested into reality and where true friendships develop into a supportive community of like-minded people.

We are an international training school where you can change you life and go to places to you have always dreamed of!

Sadhana means “Daily Practice”. It is the daily practice of yoga that can lead you to self-actualization or spiritual attainment.

Our Purpose:

Our purpose to to create a safe and supportive environment where you are free to explore who you are at the core of your being. We want to offer you a space, in a place you have always dreamed of being, to take time away from your life and connect with the dreams that rest in the deepest part of your heart; waiting to be manifested into reality. Our purpose is to connect with the teachings of yoga to encourage you, to challenge you, and to move you closer to know who are you are.

What we Do:

At SYS we aim to keep the ancient teachings of yoga alive through a well-rounded program that incorporates yoga as the Eight-Fold Path, know as Ashtangha Yoga. We see yoga as a complete system and strive to incorporate the eight-limbed approach in all we teach and share for the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual benefits that are accessible through daily practice. Our training program involves the many facets of yoga including Asana (physical postures), Meditation (stilling the mind), Pranayama (breathing practices), Mantra (chanting of sanskrit) as well as the study of Yoga Philosophy though the ancient texts of Patanjali’s yoga sutras. We believe in the integration of yoga as lifestyle and offer our students the opportunity to live and study in community with one another and their teachers, while engaging in daily sadhana practice.

The Sequences we teach:

At SYS we teach two foundational flows, a Sadhana Hatha Flow and Sadhana Vinyasa Flow. Within each sequence we teach the basic foundation of each posture and then offer modifications to make the pose easier as well as more challenging. We teach postural alignment, and safe assisting and adjusting to allow the energetic lines of the body to open and channel energy effectively. We also encourage practical integration of asana through one’s personal practice. This is where we can become acquainted with the postures, feel the alignment in our own bodies and practice adjusting techniques practically on yourself. These are the three components of Sadhana Yoga:

  • Foundation
  • Modification
  • Integration with a personal practice.

What you can expect from us:

You can expect much more than just a yoga teacher training certificate from our program. Yoga is much more than bending and twisting one’s body into pretzel like poses and our programs are designed to foster transformation and growth within you and around you. You do not have to touch your toes to join our program! There are no advanced physical requirements to join our program. SYS believes in the accessibility of yoga to every person. You will be welcomed into a safe and encouraging space where you will be asked to show up, with an open heart, and engage yourself fully into the present moment.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.
