Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I loved my 200 hr YTT with Monica. Upon graduation I felt knowledgable, corageous and ready to create my own voice. She has high personal standards as a teacher that showed throughout her training. Monica's knowledge of flow and anatomy gave a stronger base for my personal practice. Her positive guidance combined with rigorous book and asana practice created confidence in my ability to help others.

Monica, Michael, and Yvette were amazing teachers. Very knowledgeable and helpful in ensuring that everyone understood the information. They made themselves and continue to make themselves available to talk to should any questions or concerns arise. I highly recommend them!!!

The format and teaching style was very thorough, personal and accurate. I felt valued for my time and effort. There was no stone left un-turned, and no questions left unanswered. It was hands on and an awesome bonding experience for our group. Since my final, I've continued to be supported by Monica and Tonya. I highly recommend this program and look forward to teaching at the Yoga Unit and beyond!

Taking yoga teacher training with The yoga Unit taught me a great deal about myself as an instructor, as well, as the principles of yoga. We delved into ideas I really was curious about and looked at new ways to approach them and share them with students. The group of people brought together by our yoga training will be a community of people I will feel connected to always; we had so much fun, and learned so much I didn't want it to end. Thank you TYU for embracing me in your heart. Namaste
