Lead Teacher:

Allowah Lani BA, MA, E-RYT 500, has been a student of philosophy and world spirituality since his early teens, and a student of Yoga for the past 20 years. He is registered as an E-RYT 500 through Yoga Alliance, has a 300-hr certification through Dr. David Frawley’s American Institute of Vedic Studies, and studied his 500-Hour RYT with Yoga Master Sri Dharma Mittra. For the past 12 years, Allowah has taught Yoga full-time in Pennsylvania, Florida, Hawaii, and Costa Rica.

In 2006, Allowah began offering Yoga Teacher Trainings (YTT), in order to exponentially increase his ability to spread love throughout the world.  In 2016, Allowah founded Truly Helpful, LLC, to offer music and books in addition to events that center around a common dream to “allow more love to be.”  He has since published his first album, Heart ‘n’ Hands (a musical celebration of ACIM), and written two books about his spiritual yoga journey, “Who Am I?" (published 2016) and "I Am Love" (publish date 2019)

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

Studying with Truly Helpful has been an extraordinary experience. The teaching methodology, the workbooks, the wealth of knowledge, both theoretical and practical, the practices, from Hatha (in various modalities) to Pranayama, Kriya, and more, have provided me with so much information and given me the tools to fulfill my desire to be a well-rounded and professional yoga instructor. I couldn't have asked for a better education than what I've gotten so far with Truly Helpful. I am truly grateful and feel blessed to have found this source for my Yoga journey.

This training was thorough and covered the essentials that a YTT 200hr should, and more. The variety of styles and emphasis on learning all limbs of yoga was truly special, and I feel prepared to begin my journey teaching. Full Review
