Lead Teacher:

Allowah Lani BA, MA, E-RYT 500, has been a student of philosophy and world spirituality since his early teens, and a student of Yoga for the past 20 years. He is registered as an E-RYT 500 through Yoga Alliance, has a 300-hr certification through Dr. David Frawley’s American Institute of Vedic Studies, and studied his 500-Hour RYT with Yoga Master Sri Dharma Mittra. For the past 12 years, Allowah has taught Yoga full-time in Pennsylvania, Florida, Hawaii, and Costa Rica.

In 2006, Allowah began offering Yoga Teacher Trainings (YTT), in order to exponentially increase his ability to spread love throughout the world.  In 2016, Allowah founded Truly Helpful, LLC, to offer music and books in addition to events that center around a common dream to “allow more love to be.”  He has since published his first album, Heart ‘n’ Hands (a musical celebration of ACIM), and written two books about his spiritual yoga journey, “Who Am I?" (published 2016) and "I Am Love" (publish date 2019)

E-RYT 200 Teacher:

Mark Gregory, International MBA, E-RYT 200, began his yoga quest in 2014 when he moved from South Carolina to San Francisco.  In 2016, Mark was guided to the Hawaiian islands where he eventually earned his 200-Hour RYT certification through a work-trade at one of Allowah's Yoga Teacher Trainings.   The two hit it off instantly and have been working together ever since, providing Yoga Teacher Trainings and spiritual healing all around the world!

Mark brings a mellow and playful vibe to his Vinyasa-style classes that focus around breath work, raising your vibrational energy, and safely pushing yourself to reach your fullest potential.  He also hopes to inspires his Yoga family to grow their own food and protect clean water!

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

Attending Yoga University was an amazing experience. We were all so lucky to have Alan as an instructor, he has so much knowledge and experience. If anyone were to ever ask me for a suggestion I would definitely lead them to Alan, he offers two different courses one is in Naple, fl and the other in Maui, Hi. I do plan to someday go to Maui and take his continuing education classes there.

Training with Yoga Quest University taught me a very deep understanding of yoga and its benefits to the body, mind and spirit. I felt I got a very traditional and pure yoga training. Full Review
