Arhanta Yoga is an international Yoga institute which started to give internationally accredited professional yoga teacher training courses in 2009. We are a registered Yoga school (RYS) with Yoga Alliance and International Yoga Federation. We believe in the ancient principles and strength of Classical Yoga and our mission is to share our knowledge and passion for Yoga and authentic Vedic philosophy. With our traditional yoga ashrams in India and in the Netherland and affiliated centers worldwide we spread the authentic teachings of Classical Yoga with altering them. Our goal is to guide people into practice of Yam and Niyams as a way of the life. We want to help people to increase their spiritual awareness and want to encourage all our students to spread their knowledge of Yoga and their understanding of love, compassion and peace.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I love Lucia's way of teaching. She is caring, loving, kind and very genuine in her endeavour to share her knowledge in a way that prepares you to teach skillfully and in the safest way possible. And she shares a lot of very helpful tips from her years of experience to help you succeed on the business side of things as well. I took three trainings with her and I am sure I will come back for more. Highly recommend :-)

When I was looking for a yogaschool to learn more about yoga I had some strong criteria. Arhanta checked quite a few of the boxes: living in an ashram, authentic teachers, focus on how to teach yoga. The strong focus and the time that is reserved for How to Teach was a big reason why I choose to attend the 200H TTC in aug-sep 2023. Omkar proved to be a great How to Teach teacher. There is a lot to teach and learn in 4 weeks time and he is able to do that in a very constructive way with lots of room for fun and humour. He keeps pushing you to go out of your comfortzone, to go that bit further each time you teach a lesson yourself. And yes, that is reason for a bit of stress, but in the end, after 4 weeks, you feel very confident about your teaching skills and you are able to teach a 90 minute class without any doubts. Ram gave us more insight into the philosophy and teachings of Yoga. The whole team of teachers: Omkar, Ram, Titouan, Kalyani and the 2 volunteers Ana and Lena were wonderful and great to work with. In addition, the 2 cooks Elselien and Anu served really nice food every single day. My decision to attend the 200H TTC at Arhanta in The Netherlands proved to be a very good one. I have learned so much and I definitely feel more strong and confident. It is not just a journey to learn more about Yoga, it is also very much a journey about learning more about yourself. You leave the ashram with an upgraded version of yourself. Full Review
