Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I was fortunate to find the 200 hour YTT program at The Yoga Channel when I did. I had never practiced there before signing up for the program, so it was a gamble for sure. I am so glad now that I did. The hours convenient for people working a regular 9 to 5. The eight month time span gave me enough time to digest, learn, and practice material learned. Each weekend felt like a yoga retreat. The small studio allows for an intimate small-group setting. The instructors were welcoming and accommodating to various levels of asana practice. I already miss my time spent there and the friends made.

This training was a huge turning point in my life. The deep dive into the yoga philosophy, anatomy and asanas was invaluable. I completed my training and felt confident in my abilities to start teaching. Full Review
