Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

This training was a huge turning point in my life. The deep dive into the yoga philosophy, anatomy and asanas was invaluable. I completed my training and felt confident in my abilities to start teaching.

My Yoga Teacher Training through the Yoga Channel was a fabulous experience. My instructors were thorough, knowledgeable, personable, and made diving deep into yoga fun. I learned so much, not only about yoga, but also about myself and how best to apply what I learned to real life both on and off the mat. I highly recommend the Yoga Channel Teacher Training program.

The Yoga Channel provides an experienced atmosphere for all steps in the yogic journey. From the basics of essential props to the Sanskrit knowledge of pose mythology. It’s given me the strength to explore my own holistic body and connect with my healing nature for others. When you are ready, the universe brings together the time, the place, and the people to help you grow. Because of their guidance, I am now a Yoga Instructor!

I really enjoyed the training. All teachers were very knowledgeable and always ready to help. The pace was nice, and curriculum broad. I am very happy that the studio became my home studio. I've been teaching here ever since.

The Yoga Channel was the perfect experience to recieve my 200 hour training. There was no ego, everyone brought a diverse background. The value of the diverse group and knownedge of teachers was refreshing and highly impactful. I recommend TYC and its small studio setting (hidden gem for YTT) over a commercial atmosphere if you are looking for a truly authentic learning experience.

I was fortunate to find the 200 hour YTT program at The Yoga Channel when I did. I had never practiced there before signing up for the program, so it was a gamble for sure. I am so glad now that I did. The hours convenient for people working a regular 9 to 5. The eight month time span gave me enough time to digest, learn, and practice material learned. Each weekend felt like a yoga retreat. The small studio allows for an intimate small-group setting. The instructors were welcoming and accommodating to various levels of asana practice. I already miss my time spent there and the friends made.

Loved the atmosphere, the small size of the cohort. Each of my instructors are so knowledgeable and exhibited their expertise in Yoga and mindfulness. It was such a pleasure of to have received my training at the Yoga Channel.

i think it would be nice to add some time separately towards Legal Implications of Yoga Teaching including documentation and what steps need to be done to cover oneself and a few examples/experiences maybe..? But i didn't think of asking either when i was in training. Yoga is evolving. Excellent teachers and training!! THANK YOU.
