The Amrit Yoga Institute opened in 2002 under the direction of International Master of Yoga, Amrit Desai.  Today the Institute hosts a unique experience for students and visitors with a Staff that is dedicated to the evolution of self-discovery.

Teachers and practitioners in more than 40 countries worldwide provide practical applications for the ancient mystical teachings through experiential learning and services that transcend and transform the man-made boundaries separating us from each other and ourselves.

We offer a wide variety of programs that include 3, 5, 10 and 20 day curriculum.  Choose from one of our life-changing programs:  Yoga, Yoga Nidra and more.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I had practiced and taught yoga for many years before choosing to becoming a certified teacher. I choose the Amrit Yoga Institute because I had recognized (as so many others) Yoga Amrit Desai as a teacher with the knowledge to share and impart the teachings and wisdom of authentic yoga. The program was so well done, so clear, so radiant and fulfilling, that I really believed - and still do - that the system of teaching here is of the highest standard, authenticity and integrity. I'm so very grateful to Yogi Desai, and to the team of teachers at the Amrit Institute. Full Review

Every hour spent with the amazing humans at Amrit has deepened my love for yoga and my resolve in sharing the teachings. I continue to be awed and greatly blessed by my energetic investment with AYI and could not recommend them enough! Full Review
