Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

Roots Yoga is one of the most welcoming yoga communities and I was thrilled to hear that Ginger would be offering a training program. Ginger brought some of amazing instructors in to assist with modules on Ashtanga, Alignment, Anatomy, Assists, Trauma-informed, Ayurveda, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Meditation, and Arm Balances. The training was spread out over 10 months where we met one weekend a month. I found this schedule to be extremely helpful and manageable. With the time between physical meetings, we were able to digest what we learned and also prepare homework assignments for our next meeting. Ginger is extremely knowledgeable in so many areas of yoga and has so many amazing connections to the yoga community in the greater Boston area. She is also extremely supportive of her students and does everything she can to help each student succeed in teaching. Throughout the training, Ginger placed strong emphasis on becoming comfortable with practice teaching to prepare each of us to be able to teach a full class successfully by the end of the 10 months. Even though the last few months of our training were interrupted by COVID19, Ginger did an amazing job keeping the momentum going and kept us all on track. We're now a month or so out of training and a majority of our class is currently teaching or has plans to teach at studios in the near future. I highly recommend this training program to anyone who would like to further their yoga practice, especially those who have a real passion for teaching.

Doing yoga teacher training at Roots Yoga Burlington with Ginger was the best decision I ever made. Beyond teaching yoga directly it has come up in all aspects of life. Full Review

The 10-month Yoga Training at Roots with Ginger was life-changing! We became a supportive cohort who listened, cried, and laughed together while deepening our yoga practice. What a special experience. Full Review
