Sri Yoga, developed in the Tantric tradition, incorporates a mindful and systematic approach to yoga (both physical and spiritual), designed to take you deeper into smarana (the remembrance of who you really are). Working from the inside out, we align energy in order to align the body and your life. By gaining awareness of your power (shakti) and your energy (prana), you learn to cultivate these forces that translate to resplendence (Sri) on and off the mat. Classes focus on energetic alignment in asanas (postures), conscious use of the breath (pranayama), focus and concentration (dharana), combined to take you deeper inside your Self. Discover your resplendent self and recover the life that is inherently yours. In SYTT, you will discover how to set yourself apart by gaining a strong understanding of why you are here in this world and how to translate these experiences into gems that inspire you and your students to become the best they can be. Our 200 hour program goes deeper than most foundational trainings, and is designed to give you the experiences you need in order to teach from a place of depth and clarity. The 300 hour advanced studies program takes you even deeper into the center of your Self as you learn how to take your teaching to a more innovative level. In both programs, you will develop and deepen your personal practice while learning the art of teaching yoga. Studies include practical application of yoga sutras, tantra, ayurveda, alignment, subtle anatomy, vinyasa krama (intelligent sequencing), pranayama, and meditation, both on and off the mat. Sri Yoga. Live Resplendently. Teach Authentically. 200 HOUR CURRICULUM INCLUDES: 1.Cultivating a strong foundational knowledge of alignment and energetic effects of Asana, Bandha, Pranayama, Meditation, Kriya and Nada 2.Aligning your practice and your life to cultivate SRI - Radiance that melts all hearts. 3.Structuring a yoga class to create a safe and supportive environment for your students 4.Sequencing your classes to emphasize different Sattvic (Illuminating) energetic effects, themes and intentions that will safely benefit all body types. 5.Learning the art of hands on adjustment 6.Applying the teachings of the Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and other ancient texts to your life and the classroom 7.Deepening and Enhancing your personal practice so that you can create a life of purpose, happiness, prosperity, and freedom 8.Finding your unique voice and perspective to teach inspirationally In the Sri Yoga 300 Hour Teacher Training, you will gain more mastery over your physical and energetic bodies to clear your space for more effective transmission. Become more than a yoga teacher. Become an innovator and conduit for the deeper teachings of yoga. Trainings are in residence to give you a chance to go deeper. In these mini-immersions, you will have an opportunity to take your practice and understanding of the yoga teachings to a new, experiential level enabling you to teach from a place of deep “knowing” instead of classroom memorizing.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I completed my program in December 2019 with Sri Yoga. The program managers to everything to make sure students are comfortable and have the best environment for learning. Aside from getting your sequencing and poses right, the programs focus on intangibles - breathing, meditation, and focus on self awareness make this a transformative experience.

Jean and Brenna are both fantastic yoga teachers and are highly reverent of yoga as a form of awakening. I'm grateful that I found them!
