The Yoga School is an association of yoga collaborators including instructional designer, teacher trainer, and author Rachel Scott; teacher trainer, author, and Reiki Master Melanie Salvatore-August; Integral Anatomy founder Gil Hedley; and the skilled faculty of the online yoga leader DoYogaWithMe ~ committed to offering exceptional online education for yogis at an accessible price.
Designed by a professional instructional designer, the 200 and 300 hour programs combine flexible self-paced learning with robust faculty interaction and personalized feedback to support students to thrive as teachers and humans.
In the DoYogaWithMe 200 Hour, you will:
• Learn a teaching methodology that is simple, accessible, and universal to all yoga styles,
• Gain a firm understanding of anatomy and its practical application to poses
• Learn peak pose sequencing, which will solidify their understanding of asana and enable them to structure classes effectively
• Practice and teach fundamental meditation and pranayama techniques,
• Gain a clear understanding of yoga history and the real-world application of key philosophical texts,
• Participate in specific practices, asana labs, practice teaching, and structured practicums that will deepen their personal practice and elevate their teaching.
In our 300 hour yoga teacher training program, you will:
• Represent the yoga profession with integrity, intention, heart, and skill,
• Teach multi-dimensional hatha and vinyasa yoga classes that integrate all aspects of teaching, including but not limited to: heartful and elevating theming, astute sequencing, anatomical awareness, appropriate hands on and verbal assists, creative cueing, and a warm, professional and accessible presence,
• Practice and teach advanced meditation and pranayama techniques such as viloma, brahmari, chandra bhedana, and others,
• Apply an understanding of Integral Anatomy to teach inclusively, safely, and clearly,
• Clearly identify your values, vision and mission as a professional yoga teacher,
• Teach asynchronous and synchronous classes at a professional level,
• Relate key teachings from the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita to your life, practice, and teaching,
• Deepen your own practice and empower your stewardship of the yoga tradition.
