Guyoga Institute A-200 Hours Teacher Training with the master-Alon Guy Perez, Professional dancer and past Broadway performer, teacher to students worldwide, for the past 20 years ,has taught yoga at some of the most exclusive venues in the world, including NYC at David Braton Gym and Studios, and at Brazil’s Belmond Copacabana Palace Hotel and more….He began his career as professional dancer with a troupe in Jerusalem, rapidly moving to perform in Toronto, Ibiza, Barcelona, NYC -Broadway’s Dance center, then performing in Broadway’s -West Side Story At age 23, during a performance, a knee injury led him to discover restorative.. the rest was history. In 2002 he took an instructors course at Laughing Lotus Yoga School in NYC and from there he traveled to Goa to continue his journey.
This yoga Teacher Training with 200-hour training course and certified by Yoga Alliance, allowing you to teach worldwide through the International certificate.
The course material includes:
History of Yoga
Different types of yoga
Karma yoga
Chakra system/circles, energy wheels
Mudras/Seals
Pranayama/ expanding breath and its life force
Bandhas/tools for increasing control of breathing and awareness
Asana practice will include:
• Sun Salutation
• Sequencings of Vinyasa Yoga
• Nine groups of poses- standing poses, hip opener, side bends, forward bends, twists, back bends, balancing poses, inversions, sitting poses.
Teaching rules and regulations: How to teach ashtanga/vinyasa yoga and the yoga sequences, plus additional postures for beginner students, and how to gear to advanced students.
Assisting and adjusting: This is a very important step before you learn your own way of teaching, an important part of the course will be required to observe class lessons, while we will look at the different levels of various students practice and see the details in anatomy we have learned as we focus on the postures.
Anatomy: Understand the basic concepts of anatomy Recognition of anatomical structures such as: the types of joints, muscles, tendons, bones, ligaments, exchanges, cartilage, etc. Focusing on the relevant muscles- erector spine, abdominal wall front and back, muscular upper and lower limb, pelvic floor and the muscles of respiration. Principles of strengthening and stretching the muscles. Balance. Principles of dynamic stabilization.
*Classes are moving in an experiential and fun way, which provides important knowledge for the human body.
