As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I received my 200 hr YTT from the Temple of Kriya Yoga many years ago now and have been very happy with the level of knowledge, deeper wisdom and overall support from their classes. I have been well equipped with the information, practice and study needed for the many diverse paths of yoga over the years. I have recommended The Temple to so many through the years and continue to do so to this day.

While my training program with Kriya may be more dated from the current offerings, my experience was very comprehensive and set me up with a high level of confidence for teaching in a variety of settings. The course materials covered a solid foundation across philosophy and technique, and I cannot speak more highly of the instructor's ability to convey the nuances of biomechanics — this is something that continually resonates in my personal practice. The teaching staff put a great focus on translating this understanding of anatomy into communicating and working with students to understand their body awareness and drive their yoga practice forward.

Attending the Temple of Kriya Yoga for teacher training was a life changing experience. I chose the school because the curriculum included training in the philosophies of yoga as much as the asanas. The program did not disappoint, and because of what I learned, my entire outlook on life changed. It allowed me to move through life challenges with ease, grace, and inner-peace. I left the program feeling confident in my ability to teach yoga, and got a job teaching rather quickly.

I am humbled and proud to be a graduate of the Temple of Kriya Yoga. I believe a student is only as a good as his or her teacher. With that being said, I attribute my skill set as a yoga instructor from the phenomenal teacher Kim Schwartz who guided me through my teacher training. The foundation that was built at this school is excellent. Again, I am honored to be a graduate of the Temple of Kriya Yoga.

Temple of Kriya Yoga has a lovely well rounded and intelligent yoga training process that will serve you for the rest of your life. After 20 years of teaching I continue my education with this ancient but up to date system. The staff is compassionate, accommodating, and accomplished in their own yoga practice. I plan to continue my studies and research with them through on line programs and would highly recommend their trainings to others.

This is an amazing alignment based yoga program, run by amazing women. I am so lucky to have picked this program, because it is comprehensive, well taught, and has made me a much better teacher. I am thrilled with the depth of knowledge of the teachers, asana, meditation, and all other aspects of yoga. Shanti.
