We want to provide more information on what this bill, House Bill 2613, means for you! The bill was signed by Governor Ducey on May 19th, and the new law becomes effective starting on July 1.

We will keep you posted on any additional updates regarding this matter. If you have any questions as to how this victory may affect you or your business, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Our original alert is below. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to thank your elected officials with a short email. We are proud of our work to protect Arizona yogis and grateful to all those who were involved, especially those who gave their time to testify.

We did it! Thanks to the overwhelming support and outreach by the Yoga Alliance® community and the diligent efforts of Arizona legislators, our legislation to protect the rights of yoga teacher training programs to operate in Arizona without unnecessary intrusion, House Bill 2613, was signed into law on Thursday. Yoga teacher training (YTT) programs will no longer need to be regulated by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education (SBPPE). We are grateful to the policymakers who overwhelmingly supported this legislation and to Governor Ducey for signing it into law!

Thank Your Elected Representatives!

Show your appreciation for the hard work of your legislators by sending a thank you e-mail or call to the members who made this possible. Below is the contact information for those who made this milestone possible:
