Non-Registered School Policy

We do not accepted trainees who completed a teacher training from a non-registered school. For more information, view our statement on this Policy.

Grandparenting Policy

Our Grandparenting Policy for RCYT and RPYT designations ended January 1, 2016. We do not apply the Grandparenting Policy to potential RYTs or E-RYTs.

Grievance Policy

Yoga Alliance does not currently investigate grievances. With the help of our Standards Committee, we will establish a process to examine issues related to violations of Yoga Alliance Standards, Code of Conduct and/or Yoga Therapy Policy in the future.
