This collection of research, “Disease and Disorders,” includes research done on individuals who have either a psychological/psychiatric or other medical condition of varying degrees of severity. The purpose of this research is to quantify the safety and efficacy of yoga for treatment of these disease states. These studies are considered as clinical treatment trials and are important for clinicians and policy makers to be able to make decisions about the potential of recommending yoga practices to different patient populations.
