Look up Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs) and Experienced Registered Yoga Teachers (E-RYTs)

RYTs have met our minimum training standards as described in the "How To Apply" section of this website. In addition, E-RYTs have significant teaching experience (at least 2 years and 1,000 hours for an E-RYT 200, and at least 4 years and 2,000 hours for an E-RYT 500). E-RYTs are qualified to train teachers at the corresponding level. RYTs 500 and E-RYTs are qualified to conduct Continuing Education training.

Search results will indicate whether registrants are RYT (T) and/or E-RYT (E), as well as their registration levels.

To search for a yoga teacher:

1.Select the country and allow the site to pull up all the teachers in that country.

2. Scroll back down to section 2 and enter in the specific search criteria, i.e. first/last name OR city/state/province.

NOTE: If any part of the criteria you select does not match the information in our database, a response of "No Results Found" will be displayed.  If this occurs, try entering less information, such as country, name, and/or state, and hit "Search."  If you still experience problems with locating a teacher or school, please email info@yogaalliance.org.
